Lately I have been interested in watching planner videos on YouTube. It sounds weird, but I have been obsessed with to-do lists and organizing since I was a little kid, so it only seems natural for me. I wanted to show a full week layout of my planner, but I have so many students names written for IEP meetings the first part of this week that I obviously did not want to show.
On Thursday I have word stickers that say: "make today count" "very important" and "be in the moment!" On Friday I have a word sticker that says "I can and I will." Saturday's Broncos vs. Texans football game has a sticker that says "looking forward to this" because DUH! Football is finally back! Sunday's word sticker says "my everything" with a wood embellishment that says "Let's Celebrate Today!" for my Grandma's 90th birthday celebration. The three red dots on each day are where I write my top three to dos/goals for the day, which I fill in first thing each morning.
Many of the products I use to decorate my planner are from Freckled Fawn's Silver Lining Kit. This kit is full of fun embellishments to decorate planners, journals, scrapbooks, and more. This kit from July 2015 included a roll of wide washi tape, a set of wood phrases, a set of red die cut labels, a set of flair, a set of silver foil and color phrase stickers, a set of cork circle stickers, a package of enamel shapes, a package of acetate alpha and numbers, and a package of resin shapes. These all came in a cute zipper bag (not pictured.)
For a one-time purchase, Freckled Fawn is $27 plus shipping. However, if you sign up for a monthly subscription, it is only $22 plus shipping. Previous kits can also be purchased, as well as add on embellishments, paper clips, stickers, washi tape, and more.
